PETRONAS Twin Towers closed for three months

In the effort to improve our offerings, PETRONAS Twin Towers Visit Operations will be tentatively CLOSED from 15 September 2011 and will re-open in December 2011 (subject to change) for an Enhancement Project.

Though not visible (yet) at their website, one of Kuala Lumpur’s most popular tourist attractions, PETRONAS Twin Towers, will not be open for business in the next few months. Often when ‘subject to change’ is mentioned it might also take much longer for them to finish renovations/upgrades so let’s hope they are able to open this popular attraction in Kuala Lumpur again according to schedule.

Many tourists that visit Malaysia during these months will probably be very disappointed, as they are usually advised to visit the ticket office as early in the morning as possible. This means that some might only find out at the spot (around 7am) that the towers are closed to visitors. Luckily they can always visit the KL Tower as this attraction also offers fantastic views over the city.
